Abstract

This article examines the role of media literacy in the development of spiritual worldview within contemporary educational environments characterized by rapid digitalization and intensive information exchange. The study analyzes the pedagogical, psychological, and socio-cultural significance of media literacy as a mechanism for strengthening moral consciousness, critical thinking, ethical responsibility, and spiritual awareness among young people. In the modern information society, students are continuously exposed to diverse media messages that shape their values, beliefs, attitudes, and behavioral patterns. Therefore, the integration of media literacy into educational practice becomes essential for protecting learners from misinformation, ideological manipulation, cultural erosion, and moral degradation. The article highlights the importance of combining traditional spiritual values with modern media competencies in order to create intellectually mature, socially responsible, and morally stable individuals.
