This article examines how Samarkand manages to function asa cultural tourism hub while balancing the preservation of its historical heritage with modern urban development. The research focuses on the interaction between key historical monuments such as Registan Square, Shah-i-Zinda, and Gur-e Amir Mausoleum and contemporary tourism infrastructure, including hotels, museums, andpublic spaces. The study identifies strategies for achieving aesthetic, cultural, and functional harmony, ensuring sustainable tourism and urban growth.
